My blog about parenting biological and adopted kids, some with everyday kid issues and some with much more serious medical/behavioral issues. I don't care if anyone else ever reads this, my main purpose is for me to have somewhere to vent some of my thoughts, frustrations and successes. If it sounds like I'm complaining, I'm not. My kids are everything to me, I love them more than anything, but sometimes I just need to let it all out!

Oh the shame! Ha Ha Hopefully it wasn't said too loud!
He doesn't say anything quietly, so luckily for me, it was said while we were still at home! He said it because I told him that several years ago I had 4 over due books on my card. Long over due because I couldn't find them. They told me I owed $90 for the books, but then I found them and returned them. They told me I still had to pay the $90 because I took too long. I refused to pay it, so I can't use my library card anymore!
Um, just how long did it take you to return them???
She never returns books. For all I know, it could have been decades.
That's enough, you two!! It wasn't decades, only a year or two. The books were returned exactly as they were when they were taken off the self, considering I had gotten them for Luke and he never even opened one of them! Also, I checked the catalog and the library had not replaced them, so they could still be put back on the shelves.
A YEAR OR TWO??? Honestly, I thought you were going to say a few months! I once returned a book one day late and I could hardly sleep that night. How do you live with yourself?? What kind of example are you setting for your poor children?
I don't know...given the evidence, I have to believe that you're probably in denial and that it was, in fact, decades.
You said in the past that you never thought that a child of yours would go to jail, but now I'm starting to see the big picture...
