Bike accident

Steven fell off his bike today while doing a wheelie. He scraped his back, shoulder, arm and side. He didn't hit his head, but when he got into the house, he was light headed and having trouble seeing. His vision kept going from black to almost normal, but with white rings. He was also sweating profusely and pale. I called his doctor, who told me to take him to the emergency room. I ended up taking him to the urgent care center, since that is $40 cheaper than the emergency room and quicker. I was also concerned that the injury on his side might have caused some internal damage.

The doctor said that the side injury didn't cause any bone injury, but it did strain three layers of muscle, so it will be pretty painful for a while. They cleaned his scrapes, which a pretty nasty, but not too deep, luckily.

Steven is most upset about not being able to play hockey tonight, as this is the next to last night of hockey and his team has two games. I won't be surprised if he decides to play, but it will depend on how much he is hurting by then. He has played while injured so many times, that I will actually be surprised if he doesn't decide to play.
